Cleaning Your Mirror Acrylic Pieces

Follow the steps below to care for your mirror acrylic pieces:

Your Outfab order will be delivered fresh off the laser table and will require some cleaning on your part.

Here's a simple list of dos and don't to make sure that you don't damage your mirror acrylic parts in the process.


DO USE A DRY & CLEAN CLOTH

Grab a dry and clean cloth to remove all dust from your pieces. DO NOT use a cleaner. We can't stress this enough! Even using rubbing alcohol with create fractures and cracking along all points. 


Peel Masking From the Font of Acrylic
When you are ready to use your mirror acrylic pieces, remove the paper or plastic masking from the front of your pieces. You will want to do this at the last possible second to prevent scratches and general wear and tear.

DON'T USE HARSH CHEMICALS TO CLEAN YOUR MIRROR ACRYLIC

We cannot stress this enough not to use rubbing alcohol, acetone, window cleaner and any other harsh cleaner that you would otherwise use to clean your bathroom. Using any of the solutions above will severely damage mirror acrylic, melt it, cause fracturing, or both!
